How will I learn?

You will learn through presentations and workshops involving discussions, case studies, culture and leadership models as well as diagnostic tools.

Your own strategic leadership challenges will be discussed, in addition to practical examples of effective leadership and how this can impact on the culture of an organisation. These approaches will be challenging, confronting and effective for experiential learning.

  • Identify your approach to strategy development:preferences and blind spots
  • Understanding the health of your strategic and cultural relationships, using the SYMLOG multi-party  leadership feedback instrument
  • Group consultation over an individual strategic leadership and/or culture challenge
  • Group-As-Case review
  • Small group consultations in strategic leadership and culture challenges

Day 3

Creating new paradigms

  • Review learning and reflective practices
  • Different schools of strategy development
  • Methods and tools for testing strategic futures and culture
  • Thinking strategically and creatively
  • How to enhance a positive culture
  • Group consultation on individual strategic, culture and leadership challenges
  • Group-As-Case review

Transforming strategic leadership

  • Generating change – identifying, developing and fulfilling your individual and organisational purpose

Acting strategically through a positive culture
  • Review learning and reflective practices
  • Being strategic and political about resistance, power and influence in your organisation
  • Presentation to group of new approaches for cultural and strategic development
